#Why (1/3)

A hashtag is a singular word or a series of words, that is marked with a hash symbol (#) and is used in an Instagram post’s description, or comments section. The main purpose of these hashtags is to help Instagram organize and categorize content – allowing the right content to reach the right users.

If you’re a frequent social media user for personal or business, then it’s likely that you’ve already seen hashtags in action. Heck, you might’ve even used them yourself without knowing how to unlock their full potential:

Gain More Likes
Instagram users who are interested in a particular field are likely to search for related hashtags. As such, using Instagram hashtags with your content gives you a chance to get your posts in front of the most relevant audience who’re most likely to tap that heart. Someone might even find your page through a well thought out hashtag...

Gain More Followers
Using the right Instagram hashtags is one of the best ways to get more followers. Hashtags extend your reach, enabling more people to discover your content and build the desire for followership. Your audience can follow your page, but they can also follow hashtags you use, too. This is a great situation for any e-commerce entrepreneur, as you’ll be able to promote your products and your brand to users who are already engaged.

But the real answer beyond how hashtags work is why they’re important for business:

Make More Sales
While growing your following is a valuable outcome of using hashtags, you can also make more sales by integrating them into your Instagram posting strategy, especially if you find some of the top hashtags in your niche. Users are more likely to buy something related to services or products related to content they already follow, which means that you’ll be able to boost your sales.

Track Your #Success
With a business profile, you can use Instagram Insights to measure your Instagram hashtag success. The Insights feature allows business owners/page operators to analyze how effective the hashtags you are using are, based on the number of views or impressions on your posts.

FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS

Being an entrepreneur is not everyone’s cup of tea, and the struggles women have to contend with, particularly while growing a startup, cannot be underestimated. But as we follow our dreams, there is nothing that helps women find success as determined belief and a stone-strong resolve in a highly competitive marketplace. A handful of ways that talent, drive and vision will help you find validation in your mission:

Ruffle Feathers
You can’t be afraid to change the landscape of your industry, whether the market-leaders are doing it or not. Finding others, like business owners or customers, who believe in the values you stand for is certainly heart-warming, and will encourage word of mouth and confidence in you. Be you, be unique.

Leave an Impact
If in some way you can make someone else’s life better, you will significantly increase your chances of success. Customers want to tell their friends and family about “that company” who has awesome quality, honest transparency, ethical material sourcing, and innovative sustainability.

Show Your Personality
Women already have to collectively overcome the inner barriers that hold all of us back from making it, so there is nothing more important than facing your fears and pushing fiercely towards their goals. Keep you at the center of your brand; that’s half the battle.

Be A Forward Thinker
Entrepreneurship has a deep correlation with being a visionary. If you let fear prevent you from making it big, you may never claim the true power your business can have. Professional enthusiasm rests in growing and pushing the boundaries of what a business could be, and innovation can be at the center of that movement.

Your Passion is Your Opportunity
Entrepreneurship is something that starts as a hobby and morphs into a business. What becomes true for most entrepreneurs is that if you’re doing what you love, the money will come. Moreover, if you never stop learning then you will never stop improving your opportunities to build on your passion.
